How do I sign in?

The Game uses your device’s gaming service: Steam on Windows and Linux, Google Play Games on Android, or Game Center on iOS. The first time you play, you choose an account name and password. Your scores, saves and friends belong to that account.

How do I play on another device?

Sign in on the new device with the same account name and password, and your progress comes with you. On Apple devices that share an iCloud Keychain, you may be signed in automatically.

I forgot my password.

Tap “Forgot your password?” on the sign-in screen and we’ll email you a reset code. This only works if your account has an email address, because email is the only way to recover a password. If you haven’t added one yet, you can add it from the account screen while you’re signed in.

Why does only my first daily run count?

The daily is the same board for everyone, so the first attempt is the fair one. You can replay it as much as you like afterwards; those runs are practice and only you can see them.

How do I delete my account?

Email inquiries@mcnewstuff.com with the subject “King of Puzzles account deletion” and include your account name. We’ll delete your account and data within 30 days. More details are in the privacy policy.

An Itch to Scratch

How do I learn to play?

Tap HOW TO PLAY on the title screen. It starts an interactive tutorial: a guided Easy run that shows you each part of the game, then carries on as a normal run.

What’s a dud?

A losing ticket you scratch all the way costs you winnings. Scrap it before you’ve seen more than half its icons and it’s free. The button under the ticket shows how many you’ve seen.

Will I lose my run if I close the game?

No. The game autosaves as you play and whenever the app goes to the background. Tap Continue on the title screen to resume.

Can I move my progress to another device?

Not yet. Progress is saved only on the device you play on.

Does the game collect my data?

No. See the privacy policy.

Pirates vs Poseidon

How many people can play?

Online matches have up to five players: one Poseidon and up to four pirates. You can also play either role solo against the AI, or watch two AIs play each other.

Voice chat isn’t working.

Voice chat needs the Steam client running. Check the Microphone setting (off, push to talk, or on whenever you speak); push to talk can be rebound under Keybinds.

How do I stop seeing someone in chat?

Block them from the global chat. You can see and undo blocks in Settings. You can also turn off the global room entirely.

Can I play with a controller?

Yes. The Game fully supports gamepads.
